Paris Hilton’s Dog Tinkerbell Dies, World Mourns Cultural Icon
It is with a heavy heart that we report that Paris Hilton’s chihuahua, Tinkerbell, has passed away at age fourteen.
Hilton reported Tinky’s death on Instagram with this solemn photo of her cradling the beloved dog in an appropriate all-black ensemble.
She honored her four-legged BFF in an Instagram tribute, featuring photos from highlights in Tinkerbell’s career.
“My heart is broken,” wrote Paris. “I am so sad and devastated. After 14 amazing years together my baby Tinkerbell has passed away of old age. I feel like I’ve lost a member of my family … I love you Tinky, you are a Legend & will never be forgotten.”
Madame Hilton lived anything but a Simple Life. She was a reality star, published author, and honorary Gucci Girl who ran in circles with controversial celebs like Britney Spears. However, perhaps her greatest achievement in life was being beckoned to guest-host Saturday Night Live.
She is survived by a close-knit family of dogs, barnyard animals, and a miniature horse in their Mulholland Estate mansion.
Rest easy, Tinkerbell, and rest assured, Paris, that all dogs indeed do go to heaven.
