Actor Russell Crowe teamed up with Jimmy Fallon to sing an Earth Day “protest song” against BP.

The energy giant which five years ago left a disastrous mess than is known as the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

The pair belted out the Earth Day song “Balls in your Mouth” to the delight of audience members.

This week marks both the fifth anniversary of the sinking of the Deepwater Horizon oil rig and Wednesday’s Earth Day celebration. Consequently, Fallon felt compelled to act, telling Crowe he couldn’t believe that tar balls were continued to wash up on shore.

The thrust of the song is that if you are not careful while swimming in the sea, you will get tar balls in your mouth which would be a very bad thing indeed.
