Kim Kardashian says she "can only have one more baby."

Though she’s still struggling to conceive, Kim Kardashian isn’t ready to look for a surrogate just yet.

In her latest interview with Today, the mom-of-one reveals that doctors have already suggested that she looks for someone who could carry her second child. Though a surrogate may solve her infertility issues, the 34-year-old tells Matt Lauer that she’s still trying to get pregnant on her own.

“They say if you’ve been trying [to have a baby] for a year, then you usually need a little bit of help,” Kardashian explains. “I had a tough delivery, so I understand what my challenges are. I mean, I’m seeing the best doctors and I’m trying to do everything I can to make that happen.”

“They have recommended to me to get a surrogate and I would like to hold out a little bit longer and still try. I still have hope so I’m just going to keep on trying. Never say never,” she continues. “We haven’t talked about adopting. I think you get kind of over it to the point where I am so blessed that I have one and I don’t want to take my focus off of her so much.”

Kardashian’s endeavor to get pregnant again has been heavily documented in her TV series, Keeping Up in the Kardashians. In an episode that aired in April, the reality star opened up about about how far she’s willing to have a another kid — even if it means undergoing surgery to “clear out something in [her] uterus.”

“‘When you have your baby, this will be your last one,'” she recalled what her fertility doctor told her to her husband, Kanye West. “‘The problem is your placenta grew onto your uterus, so when you have your baby, that placenta will go right to that hole. And then we’ll have a team of doctors waiting right there to remove your uterus and put you right into emergency surgery because you can’t bleed too much.”

“Hopefully, this is something the doctor can fix and we can just move on from this kind of complicated chapter,” she also told sister Khloé Kardashian. “I’m just so annoyed that my kids are going to be so many years apart.”
