‘Star Trek’ Actress Alice Eve Slammed for Controversial Bruce Jenner Rant

Bruce Jenner's Emotional Interview
Last night was a momentous event for Olympic champion and reality TV star Bruce Jenner.

For some reason Star Trek’s Alice Eve decided that she should speak out against Bruce Jenner’s transition.

The actress has argued the courageous Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, who publicly came out as a transgender woman on Friday night, is “playing at being a woman.”

33-year-old Alice Eve points out that if Bruce really were a female he wouldn’t have been able to compete in the 1972 Olympic decathlon, which made him a national treasure.

“If you were a woman no one would have heard of you because women can’t compete in the decathlon,” she said in a deleted post on her Instagram page.

“You would be a frustrated young athlete who wasn’t given a chance. Until women are paid the same as men, then playing at being a ‘woman’ while retaining the benefits of being a man is unfair.”

“Do you have a vagina? Are you paid less than men? Then, my friend, you are a woman.”

Some of her followers found her remarks distasteful, however, and said they would unfollow her.

One said: “Your notion that Jenner is ‘playing’ at being a woman is honestly disgusting.”

Another added: “This is transphobia at its finest.”

She posted these two Instagram photos after she deleting the offensive post.
