Britney Spears Takes Spill on Las Vegas Stage, Announces She’s Releasing a Video Game App [UPDATE]

Oops! Britney Spears fell on stage during her Las Vegas performance last night (April 29, 2015). She’s alright though, she just banged her ankle up a little bit. Plus she’s got a lucrative new app on the way.

See her little fall in her high heels around 1:45 seconds in the video below.

Like a pro, she pushes through it and continues on performing.

The 33-year-old was performing her classic 1999 hit “(You Drive Me) Crazy.” She’s currently on her Piece of Me residency at Planet Hollywood.

Fans expressed concern for the pop Queen on social media, but she assured everyone she’s okay:

UPDATE: A rep for Piece of Me has released a statement stating that Spears will miss two of her upcoming shows. The statement reads:

Britney injured her ankle during her performance Wednesday evening and her doctor has advised her not to perform Friday and Saturday evening so that she may heal.

Her residency deal has been extended through 2017 now, when originally it was supposed to conclude at the end of this year. As part of her initial 2-year deal, Spears earns about $15 million a year (an average of $310,000 per show) according to Billboard.

Spears has some big tech news as well: she’s launching an app with the same creators behind Kim Kardashian’s super-successful game (Kim Kardashian: Hollywood), Glu Mobile.

Spears has signed a 5-year contract with Glu (with the possibility of a 3-year extension), adding to their roster of celebrities which include Kardashian, Katy Perry, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner. The game is set to be released in the first half of 2016, and will feature Spears’ likeness, voice and “creative influence.”

To put into perspective how major of a deal this is, consider the fact that Kim Kardashian’s app has made $74.3 million in revenue since its release last June.
