And Now, an Update on That Taylor Swift Kanye West Collaboration
It’s been a while since we’ve heard a peep about that Taylor Swift collaboration with Kanye West. So Entertainment Tonight did us all a solid this week by going straight to the “Blank Space” singer herself.
“We’ve never been in a studio together, but he’s got a lot of amazing ideas,” according to Swift.
“He’s one of those people who’s just like, idea, idea, idea… he’s very creative and I think we’ve talked about it, but we’ve also talked about so many other things.”
Things like the shoestring fries and burger at The Spotted Pig? Or that time they both made TIME’s 100 Most Influential People List (with West’s wife Kim Kardashian)? Or how to date people who take great bathroom selfies?
West first mentioned plans to collaborate with the 25-year-old back in February, just days after the Grammy Awards.
“She wants to get in the studio, and we’re definitely going to go in. Any artist with an amazing point of view, perspective, fan base, I’m down to get in the studio and work.”
If the world expects to hear any collaboration from these two, West and Swift should get to work soon. The latter kicks off her 1989 World Tour next week.
