Kate Middleton and Prince William Welcome a Baby Girl
Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, has given birth, Kensington Palace has announced!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have introduced the Princess for the first time outside of the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s hospital. See photos of the second royal baby here.
In a statement made by the palace, the princess, 33, “safely delivered” a baby girl, who weighed 8lbs 3oz (3.7kg), at 8:34 BST on Saturday (May 2, 2015). The Duke, 32, was also present.
An easel was placed in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace following the announcement that the Duchess of Cambridge had given birth to a baby girl.
She was admitted into the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, West London earlier this morning (around 6:00 BST).
Both the Duchess and her baby daughter are “doing well.” The baby’s name has not yet been revealed, but will in due course at which point we’ll keep you informed.
The palace released another tweet reading: “The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news.”
The second royal baby is fourth in line to the throne, behind her grandfather Prince Charles, father Prince William and brother Prince George.
