Beyonce Signs Three Teenage YouTube Stars and the Envy Is Real
Beyoncé just made the
days lives of three very lucky and #blessed YouTube stars.
The 33-year-old signed the three aspiring singers to her Parkwood Entertainment company for $1.5 million… And the best part? They’re all under the age of 18. (Yup, let that sink right in).
PageSix reports that Bey’s first contract is with Los Angeles-based sisters Chloe Bailey, 17, and Halle Bailey, 15. The duo blew up in 2013 for their cover of “Pretty Hurts” (below), so it only makes sense that Bey would sign them. The contract covers up to six albums over five years with Beyoncé earning 15% of their gross earnings.
Their father gushes, “We cannot think of a better person to help guide the girls,” adding the fact that his daughters absolutely “worship” her.
The second contract (for $560K) is with 16-year-old New York singer Sophie Beem. The teen finished in the top 40 on X Factor in 2012.
However, before both contracts can be finalized, the superstar is asking for the approval of a Manhattan judge due to the fact that all three girls are underage… But let’s be real: Who’s going to say no to Queen B?
Check out a the girls’ performances in the videos!
