Met Gala 2015: Sarah Jessica Parker Hits the Nail on the Headdress
It’s safe to say the one person everyone looks forward to seeing at the Met Gala each year is Sarah Jessica Parker because she always manages to pull off the theme in the most extravagant of ways. Let’s just say she definitely didn’t let us down this year.
The 50-year-old fashion icon stepped onto the red carpet tonight perfectly dressed for the theme, “China: Through the Looking Glass.”
Wearing a black, one-shoulder gown accented with red poppies and silk embroidery, Parker rocked a dressed she designed in collaboration with H&M. She accented it with a pair of her own black lace SJP collection heels and tradition jade bracelets.
But while her outfit was gorgeous, there’s no doubt her headdress will go down as the most talked about accessory at the 2015 Met Gala. The Philip Treacy designed flame accessory is reminiscent of an ancient Chinese headdress, and though it is lavish, it’s totally respectable and perfect for the theme.
