Tyga’s Grandma Approves of Kylie Jenner Romance, Slams Blac Chyna
The “Rack City” emcee’s grandmother, Kim Nguyen, has officially given her stamp of approval to the reality star. Speaking the the Daily Mail, the 70-year-old says she’d much rather have the 17-year-old reality star date her 25-year-old grandson than have the rapper be in a relationship with his ex-fiancée Blac Chyna, 26.
“We all love Kylie and think she is so much better for Tyga than Blac,” she tells the publication. “Yes, she is King’s mom, but Blac just wasn’t a very nice person and Kylie comes from a much better family.”
Chyna gave birth to Tyga’s son in October 2012. In 2014, Tyga allegedly left the mother of his child to pursue a relationship with Jenner, whose sister Kim Kardashian was friends with Chyna. Though Tyga and Jenner never confirmed a romance, the former previously professed his “love” for his rumored girlfriend and was reported to have told friends that he “doesn’t give a fuck about what the law says” about their relationship.
Tyga also has a tattoo of Jenner’s name on his forearm.
“[Kylie] is such a sweet, lovely girl and seems to adore Tyga,” Nguyen continues. “So we didn’t mind him splitting up from Blac. It was a relief for us all.”
“Tyga adores Kylie and has introduced us to her lots of times,” she says, adding that Tyga seems “happier” now that he’s dating Jenner. “She loves Vietnamese food, so we love to cook it for her whenever Tyga invites us to his home. Blac used to live there, but now it is where Tyga lives with his son King and Kylie is round there all the time.”
For Nguyen, she also doesn’t see a problem in the age gap between her grandson and his supposed ladylove — even if Jenner is actually underage by law.
“No, Tyga is only a baby himself, so we don’t see what the problem is,” she says. “All we care about is that she is a lovely girl, from a well educated family who are a great influence on Tyga.”
