Miley Cyrus Lets Her Freak Flag Fly and Debuts New Song ‘Tiger Dreams’ at Adult Swim Party
Performances like these are the reasons why we absolutely love Miley Cyrus.
Cyrus headlined Adult Swim’s annual Upfront party last night (May 13, 2015) at Terminal 5 in New York City, and needless to say it was the party to be at.
Cyrus lit up a joint and danced around wearing eclectic butterfly wings, pink pasties and translucent white tights during her performance. She debuted her new song with The Flaming Lips, “Tiger Dreams,” sang Khia’s banger “My Neck, My Back,” Paul Simon’s 1975 hit “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover,” Johnny Cash, and Led Zeppelin.
“When I think of Adult Swim, I think of country music and drugs,” Cyrus said, Variety noted, and that certainly seemed to be the theme of the night.

And she also debuted a song from her upcoming album, “Tiger Dreams”:
According to Variety, the 22-year-old pop phenomenon asked the audience, “Are you guys drunk yet? Are you guys high yet? No?! You’re gonna be at a show where I’m dressed as a f–king butterfly and not be high? I’m down to share,” before proceeding to generously pass her blunt to the crowd.
“You better pass that back,” she added.
Billboard reports that the blunt probably wasn’t real, however, writing: “By all accounts, it didn’t smell like the real thing.”
Cyrus also took the time to mention her foundation, The Happy Hippy, which is a nonprofit dedicated to rallying “young people to fight injustice facing homeless youth, LGBT youth and other vulnerable populations”.
Also noteworthy: Cyrus shaved her armpits, which she had dyed pink a couple weeks ago.
She’s just being Miley.
