'Star Wars' Reaction
This perfectly describes your reaction to 'The Force Awakens' trailer.

Universes are colliding, you guys.

Daniel Craig, who’s currently reprising the role of James Bond in Spectre, will reportedly make an appearance in the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens. Simon Pegg, who previously worked with director J.J. Abrams on the Star Trek reboots, accidentally spilled about Craig’s involvement in a recent interview.

“I wasn’t a Stormtrooper. Daniel Craig, he was a Stormtrooper,” Pegg told the press at the London premiere of his new movie, Man Up. When he realized his slip-up, he quickly retracted his statement, saying, “I shouldn’t have said that.”

According to The Independent, Craig had wanted a cameo in the highly-anticipated flick and approached Abrams about it. A source told the U.K. publication, “Daniel asked for some sort of secret cameo role — and was happy to have his name left off the posters. Fans will love trying to work out which covered up character is him.”

However, Pegg since backtracked on his statement even more, telling Collider that he was just repeating a rumor he had read.

He said, “Why is everyone leaping on this? It was a rumor last summer, wasn’t it? I read it in the paper. It may be untrue, like most of the other rumors, like [Benedict] Cumberbatch and [Tom] Cruise being in it.”

Whatever the case may be, we’re now officially on the lookout for what might be the hottest Stormtrooper ever.
