Kim Kardashian Get Emotional Talking About How Kris Jenner Is Handling Bruce’s Transition
In the new sneak peak clip, Kim, 34, tells younger half-sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner, “He’s going to tell his full story. At first I was like, ‘I’m totally going to cry, I’m totally going to cry.’ My throat was literally burning, just talking to him.”
She continues to say, through tears, “I was thinking [about] Mom. This is really hard for her. It’s just so sad. She cries all the time. It makes me really sad, but we should really appreciate all the things she does for us because she does a lot.”
Bruce told Sawyer in his historic interview that Kim was “the most accepting,” and she went on the Today show after his special aired to say, “That’s what life is about. I don’t know what life would be like if you always felt like you weren’t yourself. As long as he is happy … that just makes me happy. And I support him 100 percent.”
In a previous teaser for About Bruce, Bruce reflected on his relationship with his ex-wife and said sweetly, “Kris is a really good woman, and I love her to death. The love and acceptance I have gotten from Kris is absolutely overwhelming.”
Ultimately, Bruce’s brave mission is neither for the publicity, nor for the views. He told Sawyer, inspiringly, “What I’m doing, is going to do some good. And we’re gonna change the world. I really firmly believe that we’re going to make a difference in the world with what we’re doing.”
