Azealia Banks Slams ‘Bogus’ BET Awards, Says Nicki Minaj Will Win Everything Anyway

It’s been less than a day since BET Awards announced its 2015 nominees and there are already people pissed off about it.

Azealia Banks, professional rapper and instigator in many Twitter feuds, has lashed out at the awards, calling it “bogus” and that “‘it’s not even a real award anymore” as she claims Nicki Minaj, who tied Missy Elliott’s record of five wins as Best Female Hip-Hop Artist last year, will most likely just win again.

This year, Azealia is up for the award against Minaj, Iggy Azalea, Dej Loaf, Tink, and Trina.

Azealia writes in a lengthy rant on Twitter:

However, Azealia isn’t the lone voice in the crowd as British singer Dev Hynes has also tweeted his frustrations with the awards, writing:

Currently, Minaj and Chris Brown lead this year’s nominations with six nods each. The BET Awards will air live on June 28.
