Kim Kardashian Reveals She Pursued Kanye West Six Months After Her Split with Kris Humphries

Kim Kardashian is opening up about how she and now-husband Kanye West got together. In a new interview, Kardashian reveals that she pursued West six months after her split with Kris Humphries.

In a new interview with Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush, Kardashian talks about how she and West met and how they stayed in-touch over the years. “I was always attracted to him,” Kardashian told Bush. “But when I first met him, we worked on a project together and there was definitely a spark, but we were in other relationships and we kept our distance and that was really that.”

Then, Kardashian married Humphries in 2011, which we’re sure West wasn’t too happy about. After Kardashian and Humphries split in Oct. 2011, she admits that she thought West would call, but he didn’t. So, she decided to call him.

Kardashian told Bush, “I think it was six months after I was newly-single, in like 2012, I was like, ‘Why not? What am I waiting for?'” She goes on to say, “I called him because I’m sure it was really hurtful that I got married, even though him and I, it’s not like we communicated all the time, but so I knew what he was thinking. So I thought he was gonna call me, as soon as he knew that I was single again, but he didn’t. So I called him and I said, ‘Hello? I thought you were at least gonna call me and say, ‘I told you so, something.’ Then he invited me to a fashion show of his in Paris, and I went.”
