Anna Kendrick is strapping on Indiana Jones' famous khaki to raise money for charity.

Today is the inaugural celebration of Red Nose Day in America, a charitable holiday dedicated to raising money for impoverished youth worldwide.

Red Nose Day began in the UK in 1985 and has raised over $1.5 billion dollars over the past 30 years. The United States will be taking its part this evening by hosting a three-hour comedy special on NBC to raise money and awareness for the cause.

The broadcast, which begins at 8 p.m. EST on NBC, will feature appearances from stars including Neil Patrick Harris, Jennifer Aniston, and Anna Kendrick as Indie Anna Jones. Leading up to the event, you can watch the live stream of Nick Cannons Red Nose Day Danceathon here on the NBC website
