WATCH: Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’ Music Video, Rotoscoped Edition

You’ve never seen Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” video like this before…

After Swift’s “Shake It Off” music video premiered in Aug. 2014, everyone (including us!) was instantly obsessed. People around the world started making their own versions of the video (see HERE and HERE).

But, we have to say, this rotoscoped version of “Shake It Off” has to be one of the best we’ve ever seen.

Animation students from Australia’s University of Newcastle were assigned to created a rotoscoped version of the video, and the end result is amazing. The description in the YouTube video, posted by the Plasmatic Research Laboratory, says, “49 students were each given 52 frames of Taylor Swift’s Shake it Off and together they produced 2767 frames of lovingly hand-drawn rotoscoped footage.”
