The “Booty” singer recently broke down her diet for People. Emphasizing the importance of being healthy, Lopez said staying fit doesn’t necessarily mean sacrificing what you love to eat and that it’s perfectly fine to indulge once in a while. Though the mom-of-two had kale and lean proteins in her average day meal plan, she also listed a chocolate chip cookie as dessert.
“I don’t deprive myself,” the 45-year-old told the magazine. “But I’ve learned the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle … I always have healthy snacks like fruit and vegetables with me.”
Her meal for that day was as follows:

3/4 cup strawberries
1/4 cup blueberries
1/4 cup raspberries
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tbsp. honey

Kale salad with queso
1 bunch of kale, large stems removed and leaves finely chopped
2 tbsp. toasted pumpkin seeds
2/3 oz. crumbled queso
2/3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

1/3 of a large shallot, minced, sea salt to taste
A medium-size apple
1 boneless, skinless grilled chicken breast with:

Lopez also added that she tries to stay hydrated throughout the day by drinking plenty of water.
According to the publication, Lopez consumed around 1392 calories. An average women should eat at least 1,200 calories per day, while men should have at least 1,800 calories per day.
