No, the Canadian singer isn’t trademarking anything (yet), but he just worked with pop music producer extraordinaire Max Martin, who is the brains behind many, many Swift hits (including tracks from 1989). Martin is also responsible for pretty much all of your favorite pop tunes from the Backstreet Boys, Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears and ‘N SYNC.
But enough about Martin’s old stuff. Let’s focus on his new collaboration with The Weeknd: the very dance worthy “I Can’t Feel My Face,” which leaked earlier this week. Some are already calling the pop tune a contender for your song of the summer. Others are basking in the possibility that the song is the first single from The Weeknd’s follow-up to his 2013 debut studio album Kiss Land.
