Bruce Jenner Responds to Wrongful Death Lawsuit in Fatal Malibu Car Crash

Bruce Jenner has just responded to the wrongful death lawsuit that was filed against him in April.

On Feb. 7, 2015, Jenner was involved in a car crash in Malibu, Calif. A woman named Kim Howe was killed in the crash after Jenner’s Escalade allegedly struck her Lexus and sent her into oncoming traffic on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

In April, Howe’s stepchildren sued Jenner for wrongful death. But, it was revealed that they had no relationship with Howe at the time of her death.

So, Jenner has now responded to their lawsuit. According to TMZ, Jenner believes that Howe’s stepchildren didn’t depend on their stepmother “to pay for essential things in their lives” such as “food, shelter, clothing or medical treatment.”

While Jenner does say the accident was a “terrible tragedy,” he doesn’t believe it gives Howe’s stepchildren the right to try to cash in on her death.

Jenner wants the case thrown out. We’ll keep you updated on this story.
