Forbes released their 2015 edition of the World’s 100 Most Powerful Women that highlights female entrepreneurs, CEOs, and philanthropists. Among prolific figures like Hilary Clinton and Arianna Huffington you will find these seven familiar faces that hail from the rolling hills of Hollywood.

#81. Shakira

In addition to being the highest-selling Colombian artist of all time, Shakira spearheaded a partnership with Fisher-Price to develop a web series and line of toys to support the Barefoot Foundation, a charity that she founded at age 18 to provide global education systems and build schools in Colombia.
