Caitlyn Jenner Thanks Her Plastic Surgeon with Signed ‘Vanity Fair’ Copy: ‘Great Job’
Dr. Harrison Lee’s copy of Vanity Fair is so much cooler than yours.
In a new Instagram photo, Dr. Lee can be seen hanging out with perhaps his most famous patient to date: Caitlyn Jenner.
The photo, shared by one of Dr. Lee’s employees this week, shows the 65-year-old cover girl and the signed magazine, which reads “To Harrison, great job. Thank you so much.”
As revealed in Buzz Bissinger’s 22-page cover story, Jenner suffered a panic attack after a 10-hour facial-feminization surgery back in March. According to Jenner, she asked herself, “What did I just do? What did I just do to myself?” before a counselor assured her that this reaction was “human and temporary.”
In a new interview with the New York Daily News published Tuesday (June 9, 2015), Dr. Lee and Jenner’s other plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Alter said they were “honored to be chosen” by the reality TV star and Olympic champion.
“She’s extremely happy with the results, and we are too,” Dr. Alter told the paper, adding that “she looked absolutely beautiful” for Vanity Fair.
While the surgeons declined to give specific details on Jenner’s procedures, Dr. Lee admitted that Jenner’s star power made the experience “stressful.”
“I entered [the surgery] with some trepidation of course. I figured it was gonna be very challenging because of her celebrity status and the fact that she’s going to finally expose herself for [who] she is, and it’ll be one of the most judged faces on the planet.” [via NYDN]
