Pizza Hut’s New Hot Dog Pizza Is Basically the Cheesy Blaster From ’30 Rock’
For those of us who’ve been wanting to try a Cheesy Blaster — a food creation consisting of a hot dog stuffed with jack cheese and folded into a pizza — ever since foodie spirit animal Liz Lemon introduced it to the world on 30 Rock, Pizza Hut is finally making our dreams come true.
After much speculation, the fast food chain is bringing their famed hot dog-stuffed crust pizza to the United States. Making its stateside debut on June 18, the “Hot Dog Bites Pizza” will be available as a large, one-topping pie with bite-sized hot dogs in place of a crust. It’ll be sold for $11.99 and served with a side of French’s mustard for dipping.
Versions of this fast food Frankenstein have already made appearances in Canada, Australia, South Korea, and the United Kingdom.
While it might not exactly be a Cheesy Blaster, who’s to say that one can’t fold your new hot dog into a pizza? Just BYOJC (bring your own jack cheese).
Pizza Hut, our bodies are ready.
Thanks, Meat Cat!
