Chris Pratt Signs on for ‘Jurassic World’ Sequel
Chris Pratt will be returning to the land before time to visit his (pre)historic co-stars once again.
The Jurassic World star confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that he is signed on for a sequel to the box office megalith. This would be the fifth film in the Jurassic Park series based on the original classic by Steven Spielberg.
Pratt expressed disbelief to be working alongside of the prolific director. He spewed astonishment to EW, “Just the idea that everyday the dailies would go back and he’d be sitting there watching them. And they’d be like ‘He really likes them!’ And I’d be like, ‘You’re just saying that to be nice!'”
However, the highlight of Pratt’s journey through Jurassic World was the vacation time in Hawaii with his family.
“I want to see if I can get a role on Hawaii Five-0 … If I could live there and work, I would.”
Jurassic World had the second-largest opening weekend in history earning $511.8 million worldwide, ranking just below 2012’s The Avengers. The film pulled in an estimated $82.8 million on its premiere date alone for the third-largest opening of all time.
