Inside Mary-Kate Olsen & Olivier Sarkozy’s $6.4 Million Former Love Nest

If you have $26,500 to spare for rent each month, then you could move right in to the former residence of Mary-Kate Olsen and French banker Olivier Sarkozy.

The 4,200-square-foot East Village townhouse at 125 East 10th Street in New York City was built in 1860 by architect James Renwick, the designer of St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

The couple resided in the home for two years, and even though they were just renting the place the handled the renovations to the kitchen and bathrooms.

The home is five stories, including a finished basement level that opens to the beautifully landscaped, 28-foot-wide, multi-level garden.

The townhouse has been on and off the market for seven years and is available either unfurnished or furnished, and can also be rented short or long term.
