Hugh Hefner Responds to Holly Madison’s Claims About Living in the Playboy Mansion

Holly Madison’s new book Down the Rabbit Hole allowed her to open up about her “nightmare” experience living in the Playboy mansion for seven years.

Madison Vs. Hefner
Holly Madison's tell-all book on the Playboy mansion reveals shocking details.

Madison describes that time as one of the worst of her life — even battling thoughts of suicide at one point — and claims Hugh Hefner manipulated, used and mistreated every woman who ever lived in the mansion.

Now, the Playboy mogul is responding, telling People magazine:

“Over the course of my life I’ve had more than my fair share of romantic relationships with wonderful women. Many moved on to live happy, healthy and productive lives and I’m pleased to say remain dear friends today. Sadly, there are a few who have chosen to rewrite history in an attempt to stay in the spotlight.”

Hefner alleges Madison’s only reason for writing the book is to stay relevant and garner more fame.

“I guess, as the old saying goes: You can’t win ‘em all,” Hefner concluded in his statement.
