Thank you, music gods.
Days after giving the world a little tease, the one and only Janet Jackson has finally released an actual song. “No Sleeep,” which features all the familiar Janet giggles, whispers and other sweat-inducing sounds, is the first track off her hotly anticipated 11th studio album (believed to be called Conversations In A Cafe). Here’s the official tweet and audio, shared Monday morning (June 22, 2015):

According to Billboard, “No Sleeep” is produced by longtime producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. The pair’s past Janet work includes hits like “That’s The Way Love Goes,” “Together Again” and “All For You.”
The 49-year-old superstar is gearing up for her Unbreakable World Tour, which kicks off later this summer. Before that, fans can catch the Rhythm Nation Queen on the small screen as early as next weekend. Page Six is reporting that this year’s BET Awards will pay tribute to the singer with help from Ciara and other performers. If the news is true, this will be Jackson’s first major TV appearance in three years.
Kick back, relax, and listen to “No Sleeep,” above. You probably won’t be able to do anything else for the rest of the day. Thanks, Janet.
