Kanye West Admits He Was Wrong About Beck: ‘I’m Fine to Apologize for Inaccuracies’

Kim Kardashian Confirms the Sex of Her Baby
The rumors were true: The Wests are having a baby boy.

Kanye West admits he was wrong. Yes, wrong.

The rapper opened up to the Sunday Times about the incident that occurred at the 2015 Grammy Awards back in February with musician Beck.

After pretending to repeat his infamous interruption of Taylor Swift, West told E!, “Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé.”

Now, Yeezy is actually admitting he was at fault.

I’m fine to apologize for inaccuracies. You know, I send flowers for inaccuracies. I talked to Beck’s wife, and I think I had a point about Beyoncé’s album, but I think I was inaccurate with the concept of a gentleman who plays 14 instruments not respecting artistry.

Although he apologized to Beck on Twitter after the comments were made, West felt he needed to justify himself one more time. He continued.

Isn’t it amazing that people are so constantly shocked by the commonly agreed-in truth? How much bullshit are we in if, every single time I give not just my opinion, but a vast 80%, 90% opinion, I get into that much trouble? When the truth is a mass opinion. That’s not about accuracy, it’s the definition of truth. In this fight, in this struggle for beauty, in this struggle for awesomeness, in this struggle for fair play, in a manipulative field, there might be a couple of inaccuracies on my part. But far fewer than the inaccuracies of the current systems.

He later went on to compare himself to Leonardo da Vinci, which is not at all surprising since he’s also compared himself to Steve Jobs, Michael Jordan, and Walt Disney.

Kanye West thinks he’s like the man who painted the Mona Lisa. Let that stick.
