WATCH: ‘SNL’s’ Amy Poehler and Seth Meyers Revive ‘Really!?!’ on ‘Late Night’

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Dolls Are Happening
Life is worth living now that toy versions of these two will exist.

Yes, it really happened.

On Wednesday’s (June 24, 2015) Late Night with Seth MeyersAmy Poehler reunited with her former “Weekend Update” co-anchor Seth Meyers for an instalment of their signature SNL bit ‘Really!?!’

During their SNL days, Poehler and Meyers would regularly vent their thoughts about certain controversial subjects, and last night’s subject was calling out sportswriter Andy Benoit and his recent sexist tweets.

The Sports Illustrated contributor wrote an offensive tweet, in which he stated “women’s sports in general not worth watching” with regards to the Women’s World Cup.

This obviously led them to ask, “Really!?!” Before the segment, Benoit removed the tweets and apologized, but the damage was already done.

I guess I’m not surprised that you work for Sports Illustrated. You guys put out a swimsuit issue every year dedicated entirely to women who aren’t in sports. Unless you think that it’s a sport to cover both boobs with one arm. Really!?!

The former Parks and Recreation star added:

We wear headbands, we love to travel and, much like LeBron in the finals, we often find ourselves asking, “Hey, can I get some help around here?”

She makes a solid point. Watch the video of the “Really!?!” segment above. Earlier this week, Meyers reunited with another SNL pal, Maya Rudolph who made the best impersonation of former NAACP leader Rachel Dolezal.
