‘The O.C.’ Is Being Made Into a Musical
Yes, you read that right, The O.C. is becoming a musical.
Remember when we told you about Cruel Intentions getting turned into a musical? Well, now the creators of that show are setting their sights on The O.C. in two months.
According to Playbill, The O.C. Musical will be a “one-night-only event” in Los Angeles and will be “set to some of the series’ most memorable hits.”
The former FOX TV show made its debut in 2003 and launched the career of its young stars like Mischa Barton, Ben McKenzie, Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson. Barton left the show in 2006, but the others stuck around until the show ended in 2007.
So, will the original cast appear in the show?
Maybe! Probably not. But, maybe they’ll go see the show, like Reese Witherspoon, Selma Blair and Sarah Michelle Gellar did with the Cruel Intentions show.
Actor Drew Seeley has been cast as Luke Ward, Christine Lakin as Kirsten Cohen and Jarett Wiselman will play Josh Schwartz, the creator of the show.
A Twitter account has already been set up for the musical, giving everyone updates on how the show is coming along.
Maybe Chris Pratt will make a guest appearance?
WE CAN’T WAIT! We leave you with this…
