E.L. James’ Twitter Q&A Failed So Hard That It Was Hilarious
Did someone not learn from Bill Cosby’s “Make Me a Meme” snafu?
E.L. James, the Fifty Shades of Grey author who some say made a ton of money off of romanticizing an abusive romance and falsely portraying it as a BDSM relationship, held a Twitter Q&A on Monday that went horribly awry when it was flooded with strangers calling her out for using poor logic in her novels.
So while James thought she would spend her time talking about her illustrious career as a Twilight fan fiction writer, she spent most of her time dodging questions about her alleged homophobia and her book’s glorification of domestic violence.
According to some users, James also started blocking some of the more nastier tweets during her Q&A.
Oof. As if the actual books aren’t cringe-worthy enough already.
