Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Split After 10 Years of Marriage
Bennifer 2.0 is no more.
After months of dodging divorce speculations, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have called it quits. The couple, who got married in Turks and Caicos in 2005, have announced that they’re seeking a divorce just a day after their 10-year wedding anniversary.
According to TMZ, the Hollywood couple are working with a mediator and business managers to separate their assets. The divorce will be filed when all of the property and custody issues are resolved.
Affleck, 42, and Garner, 43, are said to have separated amicably. They are seeking joint custody of their three children: Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3.
“After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the duo tells People in a joint statement. “We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time.”
