Jim Carrey Interjects on California Injection Laws, Calls Governor a “Corporate Fascist”

Jim Carrey went on a Twitter rant to express his feelings on California’s new immunization bill.

Gov. Jerry Brown signed the strictest school vaccination law instated in the United States on Tuesday that requires all children be immunized despite religious or personal exemptions. Carrey, an outspoken activist on the topic, took to issue with the state’s new program.

The actor’s stance on child immunization became known during his relationship with Jenny McCarthy, who believes that vaccines caused her son’s autism.

In his 12-tweet rant, Carrey clarified,

Trace Amounts is a documentary about Eric Gladen who suffered from mercury poisoning that he attributes to a “thimerosal-loaded tetanus shot”.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention insists that there is no connection between vaccines and autism.

Though pro- child vaccination himself, celebrities who are against the needle include Mayim Bialik, Kristin Cavallari, and Alicia Silverstone. Carrey cites Robert F. Kennedy Jr., son of “Bobby” Kennedy Jr., as a fellow anti-neurotoxin proponent, recommending his article on thimerosal.

Gov. Brown has yet to respond to Carrey’s social media spewing.
