Meghan Trainor Diagnosed With Vocal Cord Hemorrhage, Cancels Tour Shows

Is it the song of the summer?

Meghan Trainor’s MTrain Tour is pulling in to the station for an unexpected repair.

The ‘Lips Are Moving’ singer announced on Instagram that she is postponing the first two shows of her tour due to a vocal cord hemorrhage on Thursday, July 2.

Trainor responded to distraught ‘Megatronz’ with a silent film-esque apology, captions provided courtesy of her phone.

I’m in New York now seeing another doctor. So frustrated but cant make any noise. I want to cry but I can’t cuz it will hurt more … I’m sorry Megatronz I will make it up to you I promise.

Trainor was placed on vocal rest for two months last year while recording ‘Title’, her debut album, after developing polyps on her vocal cords.

The tour’s next stop on July 7 in Lansing, Michigan has yet to be altered or postponed.
