Beyoncé Headlines Global Citizen Festival 2015: Learn How to Get Your Free Tickets

Queen Bey? For free? Pinch yourselves, Celebuzzers: This is definitely not a drill.

Beyoncé, Ed SheeranColdplay, and Pearl Jam will headline this year’s Global Citizen Festival, a charitable concert event held in Central Park on September 26.

Two free tickets to the event can be yours by participating in the organization’s ‘Action Journeys’ aimed to bring awareness to global poverty. After registering on Global Citizen’s website, users can access a list of actions such as signing petitions or sending Tweets that target the attention of global leaders who can make a change. Once the actions are completed, they will be entered into a lottery system for the chance to be granted concert passes.

There are a total of five Action Journeys, which increases the odds of scoring tickets even if you are not selected on the first round.

Journey-goers also have the opportunity to win other perks like meet-and-greet passes with the performers by getting involved with isolated high-impact ‘Days of Action’.

The organization’s specific goals include improving food security and increasing equal employment opportunities for women.

According to Forbes, Beyoncé is just as excited as her fans about her spot on the Global Citizen Festival line-up.

“I am honored to be a part of the Global Citizen Festival. It has always stood for improving the lives of people everywhere, but this year is especially rewarding as we all join focuses and utilize our talents for one goal: to end extreme poverty globally.”
