An Intense ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2′ Trailer Kicks Off 2015 Comic-Con

What Breakup?
Jennifer Lawrence and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin were spotted...

The cast of The Hunger Games made their final salute to Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con, ahead of the release of the franchise’s final film, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.

Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and other cast members were on hand to preview footage from the upcoming movie and took part in a question-and-answer session.

Conan O’Brien moderated the panel and here are some highlights from the event:

Producer Nina Jacobson said they want to deliver for the fans who delivered for them and make an emotional film that’s “satisfying to the core.” She went on to say, “It’s tough, we all wish there were seven or eight books instead of three. We want to deliver for the fans.”

Lawrence had trouble picking a favorite Hunger Games moment (Willow Shields suggested “I volunteer as tribute!”), but says it’s in the upcoming movie and that’s why she can’t say what it is.

Hutcherson said of Peeta, “It’s a long road to recovery. He’s trying to get himself back.” Asked what he’ll miss most, Hutcherson says, “You’re looking at it” while looking at the cast. Hemsworth and Lawrence try to “comfort” him by touching his face.

“We have a great scene together,” Hemsworth says about Peeta and Gale. He joked that there might even be a kiss between the two of them.
