‘Game of Thrones’ Star Lena Headey Gives Birth to a Baby Girl
So this is why Lena Headey is missing out on Comic-Con this year.
The Game of Thrones actress has given birth to her second child. Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister on the HBO show, broke the news herself on Twitter, writing:
In February, the 41-year-old announced that she was pregnant again.
While she kept mum on the identity of her baby’s father, Headey later revealed that she was expecting a girl in a guest blog titled “Daughter” on PlanUSA.org.
“I am having a baby girl in six weeks,” she wrote in May. “My daughter will have freedom of choice. She will be free to dance, to sing, to be educated in the fields that spark her passion, to marry if she wants, to marry WHO she wants, to remain single, or to fall in love with another woman. She’ll be able to wear what she wants, put on lipstick, and read books that spark debate and expand her mind.”
Headey is already a proud mom to 5-year-old son Wylie with ex-husband Peter Loughran.
