This Is What a Taylor Swift-Themed Weather Forecast Sounds Like

Taylor Swift + US Women's Soccer Team = winning.

Someone’s been listening to a lot of Taylor Swift in the rain…

That, or Mike Thomas, the weatherman at FOX 5 in Washington, D.C. has been doing a lot of research on TSwift songs.

On Monday (July 13, 2015), Mike delivered a weather forecast like no other by sprinkling some lines from your favorite Taylor Swift songs.

A few of our favorites:

“The good news: this rain keeps cruising, can’t stop won’t stop moving.”

“I’ll let you know if it’s gonna rain forever, or if the concert’s gonna go down in flames.”

“If it does rain just shake shake shake all that rain off and go right back to dancing like you’re 22.”

Of course, the TSwift-rich weather report was no accident. The 25-year-old superstar brought the 1989 Tour to Nationals Park in D.C. Monday night (the rain was kind to her), her first of two shows in our nation’s capital.

And it looks like Mike the weatherman’s hard work paid off. Just prior to hitting the stage last night, Swift gave this special shout out to your new favorite local news star:

Good job everyone (but especially Mike).
