Ariana Grande Is Here to Remind You That She Loves America

Ariana Grande is in damage control.

Following her infamous #DonutGate, in which the singer was caught contaminating unsuspecting pastries with her saliva before proclaiming “I hate America” at a California doughnut shop, is trying to move on from the whole debacle by remind anyone who would ever listen to her that she’s really, really pro-USA.

Resuming her Honeymoon Tour for the first time after a three-week hiatus, Grande, 22, made sure to deliver one patriotic speech to let everyone know that she’s a red-bloodied American. During her performance in Tampa, Fla. on Thursday night, the songstress told the crowd, “I’m so, so grateful to be here performing in the USA — the greatest country in the world! I love you guys so much.”

Grande, who has apologized twice since the doughnut-licking incident, also unleashed a mash-up of Whitney Houston/Chaka Khan’s “I’m Every Woman” and Madonna’s “Vogue” during the same concert.
