Friday Flashback: The Evolution of Paul Rudd

Paul Rudd has been making us laugh ’til we cry for years, and now he’s moved onto saving the world.

Paul Rudd farts his way through 'Ant-Man' interview.

If you didn’t already know, Rudd is the star of the latest Marvel movie adaptation, Ant-Man, which hits theaters today.  However, you may know him better from his previous roles in comedies such as Role Models, I Love You Man, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and Wet Hot American Summer.

You probably first laid your eyes on the New Jersey native when he played Phoebe’s love interest Mike Hannigan on Friends, or he might have been your first crush playing Josh in Clueless.

Now, Rudd is an every day super star. Just a few weeks ago, the 46-year-old was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Not to mention, his part as the latest Marvel superhero has already put him in the next Captain America movie opposite Chris Evans.  And if that weren’t enough, the actor is also going to be in the highly-anticipated Netflix comedy series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp.

So in honor of the star’s upcoming releases, we decided to take a look back at his transformation in the spotlight. From days wearing nerdy outfits at Star Wars parties to a dapper, sight for sore eyes, Rudd has come a long way… And yet somehow he’s never seemed to age.
