A reconciliation between Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick isn’t happening any time soon.

According to Us Weekly, Kardashian, 36, has taken the initial steps to gain sole custody of her three children with her ex-boyfriend: Mason, 5, Penelope, 3, and Reign, seven months. Though Kardashian and Disick, 32, are not married, the mom-of-three is reportedly seeking legal advice from Hollywood lawyer Laura Wasser, who previously worked with Kim and Khloé Kardashian on their respective divorce cases, to explore her options.

A source tells the publication that Kourtney visited Wasser’s office before news broke of her split with Disick. On Monday (July 20, 2015), it is said that the mom-of-three met up with Wasser once again to discuss her case.

“She met with Laura Wasser again,” the insider says. “And is going to seek sole custody of the kids.”

While the couple of nine years does not have a current custody arrangement, sources say that Kourtney has a good chance of getting what she wants as Disick will probably not put up a fight.

“Scott’s friends don’t think he’ll challenge Kourtney,” one insider says, while another adds the patriarch “doesn’t act like a dad at all when he’s partying.”

Since news of the breakup, Disick has reportedly been acting aloof around close friends and family and lying about his whereabouts. Though he initially canceled few of his public appearance to lay low, he is scheduled to host a part at 1OAK nightclub in Las Vegas later this week.

Meanwhile, Kourtney has been at their family home taking care of their three children.

“She knows being with [Laura] is what’s in their best interest,” a source close to Kourtney says. “There’s no turning back now and she is going full steam ahead with figuring out an agreement.”
