Stamos, whose upcoming projects include the Full House spinoff on Netflix and a sequel to My Big Fat Greek Wedding with Nia Vardalos, was arrested June 12 after multiple residents in the Beverly Hills, Calif. neighborhood made calls to the police “reporting a possible DUI driver in the area.” Officers handcuffed Stamos at the scene before taking him to a nearby hospital for treatment. He was cited with a misdemeanor DUI.
A month later it was confirmed that Stamos had checked into a residential rehabilitation program. During the time, he also stepped down from his gig as a co-host for the 2015 Emmy nomination announcements.
Stamos is due in court Sept. 11.
