We’ve seen makeup artists transform themselves into Kim Kardashian. Now, the reality star’s personal makeup artist is breaking down the process himself.

Mario Dedivanovic, who did the makeup for Kardashian for her wedding with Kayne West, held a beauty class for over 1,000 guests at Pasadena, Calif. over the weekend. Joined by Kardashian, the beauty guru spilled his secrets to fans as he gave an in-person demonstration.

The master class, which cost around $400 per person, covered everything from beauty basics to how to kontour contour like a Kardashian. While attendees went home with some amazing how-to knowledge, they also walked away with huge swag bags filled with products from Anastasia Beverly Hills, Tatcha, Benefit, NARS, Marc Jacobs, MAC, and — natch — Kardashian Beauty. Um, jealous!

While we can’t reach out to the computer screen to grab ourselves some free lipstick, we can learn a few tricks of the trade. Here are just some tips Dedivanovic covered during the four-hours presentation.

1. Use a beauty blender.

Avoid streaks and harsh lines from your foundation and powders by stippling your face with a sponge. Dedivanovic prefers the Original Beautyblender.

2. Start with a good canvas.

Make sure your face is clean and well moisturize before putting on any makeup. Dedivanovic recommends Kiehl’s Ultra Facial as a good base.

3. Eyebrows are important.

Eyes are the windows to the soul. Why not dress it up with some amazing curtains — A.K.A. your eyebrows — as well? Filling in your brows can create a dramatic effect. Just look at how different Kardashian looks!

4. Hair matters too.

You work hard to get your brow on fleek, so be sure to treat your hair with the same care as your face. Kardashian says uses Olaplex as hair treatment, adding, “When your hair is really damaged, if you sleep in that, it really works. I notice a huge difference!”

5. Take selfies of your work.

Come on. This is a Kim Kardashian makeup tutorial.
