Nicki Minaj’s Ex-Boyfriend Disses Meek Mill in New Song

And no, we’re not talking about Drake.

Safaree Samuels, the man Nicki Minaj dated for 12 years before breaking up with him last year, has released a new song dissing his ex-girlfriend’s new man. In “Lifeline,” which dropped Tuesday (July 28 2015), Samuels takes a dig at Meek Mill and his raps skills.

“Hope you go platinum my n***** she need a better ring,” he raps in one verse, referencing Mill’s recent album Dreams Worth More Than Money and the alleged engagement ring he bought for Minaj.

On the track, Samuels also alleges that he wrote some of the lines on Minaj’s new record, rapping, “My bars on The Pinkprint no one will ever match / My dickprint, lil n***** you can never match.”

Of course, it is not the first time Samuels demonstrated his inability to move on released a song about his ex. In June, he dropped “Love the Most,” a track which he spent the entirety of whining lamenting about his broken relationship with Minaj.

At the time, the femcee responded:

So, Nicki: 2. Safaree: 0?
