Zayn Malik’s Solo Career Will Unite the Worlds of Iggy Azalea and Frank Ocean

That Time Zayn Malik Cut Ties With 'Fat Joke' Naughty Boy
The (supposed) bromance between Zayn Malik and Naughty Boy is dead

Zayn Malik is moving his one man show in an interesting new Direction.

On Tuesday July 28, Billboard reported that the estranged One Direction member signed a fresh deal with Turn First Artists, the company who manages Iggy Azalea, Ellie Goulding, and Rita Ora. It was confirmed earlier in the month that he will remain on Simon Cowell’s record label, Syco Records, despite rumors that he had been dropped.

Now it appears that Malik is working with Frank Ocean’s producer Malay according to a photo on Instagram.

The Channel Orange producer posted this photo with the caption,

“Benefits of the job.. my daughter gets to meet my co-workers, one who happens to be one of her favorites @niazkilam what an amazing soul #zaynmalik”

Recent snaps posted on Malik’s Twitter account point to new music headed our way.

They also point to a touch of nostalgia for the collaborative days with Harry Styles.

Here’s to hoping that the new steps in his career might lead to relative hair stability.
