Joe Jackson Moved Out of ICU After Suffering a Massive Stroke

Joe Jackson’s health is looking up nearly a week after suffering a stroke on his 87th birthday.

UsWeekly reports that Michael Jackson’s father was moved out of the intensive care unit at the Albert Einstein Sao Paulo hospital in Brazil and into a “regular room”. An insider tells Us that Jackson is “regaining motor skills and starting to walk with assistance.”

“Doctors believe that he will be able to enjoy full regular meals once he regains energy.”

The source adds that he will return home with his daughter Janet Jackson on her private jet before being transferred to a hospital in L.A.

Joe posted a statement on his personal website following the heart complication to thank his fans for their support. He wrote, “God willing, I should be able to make a quick recovery and travel back home soon. Thank you all once again for your prayers and support”

This is Jackson’s fourth stroke in his medical history.
