The singer speaks out about the death of his daughter.

As Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family prepare for her funeral this Saturday, Nick Gordon is making his case as to why he should be there to say his final goodbye.

Gordon, who was dating Bobbi Kristina shortly before her tragic death, reportedly sent an email to his late girlfriend’s father, Bobby Brown, and her aunt, Pat Houston, begging to be invited to the memorial.

“I loved Krissi with all my heart and I am destroyed that she is gone and I need to say goodbye,” the message read, according to TMZ. “I’m begging you both to please put your differences aside and allow me this chance.”

“Krissi loved me very much and she would want me there,” he added.

Gordon is currently under investigation for Bobbi Kristina’s death after he was accused of abusing her prior to her passing. While Bobbi Kristina’s preliminary autopsy shows no signs of foul play, Gordon has been slapped with a $10 million lawsuit for allegedly assaulting BK and stealing thousands of dollars from her while she was comatose in the hospital.

Bobbi Kristina, the only daughter of late singer Whitney Houston, was found unresponsive in her Georgia home on Jan. 31. She was later moved to a hospice, where she passed away on July 26 at the age of 22.

She is set to be buried with her mother.
