Love Is Dead But Perrie Edwards Is “Good” Post-Split From Zayn Malik

Love Is Dead: Kermit and Miss Piggy Call It Quits
The animal kingdom's royal couple killed love as we know it.

Perrie Edwards is keeping her chin up after breaking up with former One Directioner Zayn Malik.

The Little Mix singer maintained a poker face during an interview with E! News when asked about her status post-Malik. When questioned on how she’s coping through this transitional phase in her life, the 22-year-old replied that she’s feeling “good”.

Her bandmates were quick to redirect the interview back to less awkward topics of conversation. Leigh-Anne Pinnock swiftly swooped in, clarifying as a collective,

“We don’t really want to talk about it.”

Love may be dead, but thankfully friendship isn’t.

Malik and Edwards announced their split on August 4 despite having ended their engagement nearly two weeks prior. Reports claim that the hair chameleon-turned-solo artist was the one to cut it off.

While some say that she is “devastated”, insiders tell E! that Edwards is better off. “He hasn’t treated her right for a long time,” they said. “[She] is doing great.”

We would happen to agree.
