Ryan Adams Is Covering All of Taylor Swift’s ‘1989’, and She’s Super Excited About It

Cue your inner fangirl.

Ryan Adams announced that he was going to cover Taylor Swift’s album 1989 in full, and she’s freaking out with excitement (as are we).

Adams posted a slew of Instagram photos announcing the news of what will be some truly amazing covers.

First up was a cover of “Welcome to New York,” which Adams self-described as “Guaranteed saddest version of Welcome to New York ever – or your tears back,” and in the style of The Smiths.

Next he posted about “Blank Space,” commenting it was “Deep end smiths vibe.”Afterwards, he and his bandmates worked on “Style.”

Swift showed her appreciation for Adams (who’s the ex-husband of actress-singer Mandy Moore) when she heard the news, tweeting:
