Kylie Jenner Kicks Off Her Birthday Weekend by Giving Back to Children in Need
Most people receive gifts on their birthday, but Kylie Jenner wants to do the opposite.
In honor of her 18th birthday coming up on Monday, the reality star decided to kick off her big weekend by giving back to children in need.
Joined by her boyfriend Tyga, Kylie stopped by the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles on Friday and made a generous donation of gifts to kids undergoing renal dialysis. Some of the presents included Beats by Dre headphones, Barefoot Dreams blankets, Arthur George socks designed by brother Rob Kardashian and kidney-friendly candies from Sugar Factory.
“Let the birthday celebrations begin!!” Kylie captioned a photo of herself with a large cart at CHLA.
According to Us Weekly, the gifts weren’t the only thing the birthday girl gave the kiddos. After spending some time making friendship bracelets with them, she gave each child a disposable camera to snap selfies with her and each other.
“It was all Kylie’s idea,” a source tells Us. “She feels so lucky to be able to celebrate her birthday the way that she gets to, she wanted to give back to other people in need.”
Looks like little Kylie really is growing up.
